Theophylaktos 1, a koubikoularios (Θεοφύλακτον κουβικουλάριον), was sent in 705 by Justinian II (Ioustinianos 1) to Khazaria to bring back to Constantinople Justinian II's wife, Theodora 1, and his baby son, Tiberios 4: Theoph. AM 6198.
