A Lombard, Munichis 1 fought at the battle against the Slavs when Ferdulf 1 (dux of Forum Iulii) and Argait 1 and most of the Lombard nobles of Forum Iulii were killed; he survived, killing his captor and escaping; he was father of two later duces, Petrus of Forum Iulii (Petros 77) and Ursus of Ceneta (Oursos 2): Paul.
