Konstantinos 269 was a layman, possibly a lay brother, who was the addressee of a letter from Theodore the Stoudite (Theodoros 15), written between 815 and 818; he was a supporter of the veneration of icons and Theodoros 15, who was told this by a monk (Anonymus 784), wrote him a letter of praise; he is styled τιμιότητί (p. 478, line 2): Theod. Stud., Ep. 338, pp. 478-479 (addressed Κωνσταντίνῳ). He was probably a person of high rank.
