Anonymus 784 was a Stoudite monk; he visited Theodoros 15 (Theodore the Stoudite) with news of Konstantinos 269, reporting that he was a supporter of the veneration of icons; on his return he delivered a letter of praise from Theodoros 15 to Konstantinos 269: Theod. Stud., Ep. 388, pp. 478-479.
