Ioannes 464 was a Stoudite monk and spiritual son of Theodoros 15 (Theodore the Stoudite), he was the brother of Bryenas (Bryennios 4) and son of Anonyma 81; he was informed of the death of his mother by Theodoros 15, who mentions him in a letter to Bryennios 4 (τὸν ἀγαπητὸν ἡμῶν ἀδελφὸν καὶ πνευματικὸν υἱέα, τὸν κύριον Ἰωάννην, τὸν ὁμαίμονα τῆς ὑψηλότητός σου): Theod. Stud., Ep. 509 (c. 821/826). Possibly identical with Ioannes (ὁ κῦρις Ἰωάννης) to whom Theodoros 15 sent greetings via Naukratios 1 in summer 816: Theod. Stud., Ep. 151.
