Eutychianos 2 was a member of the synkletos; an iconoclast, he was chosen by the emperor Leo V (Leo 15) in c. 815 to help in promoting iconoclasm (εὗρεν δὴ ὀλίγους τῆς συγκλήτου ... καὶ Ευτυχίανον): Vita Nicetae Medicii (AASS April I) 31. Cf. also Ioannes 155.
