Anonymi 19 were two unnamed brothers known as the Grammatikoi; they were iconophile monks to whom was addressed a letter written by Theodoros 15 (Theodore the Stoudite) in c. 816: Theod. Stud., Ep. 91 (addr ssed τοῖς γραμματικοῖς τοῖς δυσὶν ἀδελφοῖς: p. 212, line 1). At about this date they, together with the hegoumenos I seph 20, fell into the hands of an iconoclast persecutor called the new Iannes (probably to be identified with Ioannes 5 Grammatikos): Theod. Stud., Ep. 91, p. 212. Cf. Iannes 1.
