Anonyma 75 was the elder daughter of the protonotarios Hesychios 3 and sister of Anonyma 76; her father dedicated her to a life of religion before she was born; when in due course she preferred to marry, her father considered sending her younger sister into a monastery in her place; however, he asked the advice of Theodore the Stoudite (Theodoros 15) and was strongly urged not to change his mind: Theod. Stud., Ep. 500, pp. 738-740. The letter was written between 821 and 826.
