Theodoulos 6 was an attendant and disciple of Ioannikios 2 (St Ioannikios), who once instructed him to take oil and give it to the poor: Sabas, Vita Ioannicii 40 (ὑπουργὸς), Petrus, Vita Ioannicii 52 (μαθητήν, τὸν σεβάσμιον Θεόδουλον). Ioannikios 2 was living at the time near the monastery of Antidios (in Bithynia); see Ioannikios 2.
