Theodotos 7 was hegoumenos of the monastery of the Hagia Theotokos of Kaloketa; in 787 he was represented at the fourth session (1 October 787) of the Second Council of Nikaia (the Seventh Ecumenical Council) by the monk Theodoros 99: Mansi XIII 153 (Θεόδωρος μοναχὸς, καὶ ἐκ προσώπου Θεοδότου ἡγουμένου τῆς ἁγίας Θεοτόκου Καλοκετῶν; his name is missing from the Latin version, at XIII 154, cited under Theodoros 99).
