Theodoros 342 was a basilikos spatharios and strategos of Samos; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth or the ninth century: DOSeals II 44.10. Obv.: cruciform monogram, of uncertain interpretation, with .. - ς. - .. - .ου in the corners. Rev.: Θεωδ. - ρ' βασιλ. - σπαθα. - και στρατ. - γ' Σαμ. The name and titles read: Θεωδ[ώ]ρ[ου] βασιλ[ικοῦ] σπαθα[ρίου] καὶ στρατ[η]γ[οῦ] Σάμ[ου]. His first title could also be read as: βασιλ[ικοῦ πρωτο]σπαθα[ρίου].
