Theodoros 296 was a patrikios and strategos of the Armeniakoi; owner of two similar seals dateable between the mid eighth century and the mid ninth (Zacos and Veglery) or in the first half of the eighth (Likhachev): Zacos and Veglery 3196, Likhachev, Molivdovuly LIX 11 (M-8028). The name and titles read: Θεοδώρῳ πατρικίῳ καὶ στρατηγῷ τῶν Ἀρμενιακῶν.
