Theodoros 43 was bishop of Doara in Cappadocia Secunda; in 681 he attended the Third Council of Constantinople (the Sixth Ecumenical Council) and was present at two of the last three sessions (sessions sixteen and eighteen, on August 9 and September 16): Riedinger, pp. 692-828 (= Mansi XI 616-680). In the subscriptions to the statement of the faith, which condemned monotheletism, he is styled Θεόδωρος ἐλέει Θεοῦ ἐπίσκοπος πόλεως Δοάρων: Riedinger, p. 794, line 14 (= Mansi XI 652). In the signatures to the Council he is styled Θεόδωρος ἐλέει Θεοῦ ἐπίσκοπος Δοάρων Καππαδοκίας δευτέρας: Riedinger, p. 828, line 15 (= Mansi XI 680). In the lists of those present at each session he is styled Θεοδώρου ἐπισκόπου Δοάρων: Riedinger, p. 692, line 20, p. 762, line 31 (= Mansi XI 616, 629).
