Theocharistos 3 was the brother of the (unnamed) exarch (of Italy); he was a priest at Rome, where he and Maximos 10 (Maximus the Confessor) once met Theodoros 346 by an arrangement involving the (unnamed) primikerios (Anonymus 656): Relatio Motionis III, 113C (μετὰ τοῦ ὁσιωτάτου πρεσβυτέρου κυροῦ Θεοχαρίστου τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ τοῦ ἐξάρχου).
