Tarasios 4 was a hypatos and archon of the Kibyrrhaiotai; owner of two seals, from the same boulloterion, dateable to the first half of the eighth century: DOSeals II 59.1 a = Zacos and Veglery 2408, DOSeals II 59.1 b. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with the name Τα - ρα - σι - ω in the corners. Rev.: +υπα - τω και αρχ - οντι τω - ν Κυβερι - οτων+. The name and titles read: Ταρασίῳ ὑπάτῳ καὶ ἄρχοντι τῶν Κυβεριότων. On the post, cf. Winkelmann, Rangstruktur, pp. 96-97.
