Symbatios 3 was a basilikos mandator and chartoularios of Thessalonike; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: DOSeals I 18.14 = Zacos and Veglery 3222.
Symbatios 3 is probably identical with Symbatios, basilikos mandator and chartoularios of Thessalonike, owner of a seal dateable to the first half of the ninth century: Zacos and Veglery 3186. The name and titles read: Although the seals are from different boulloteria, the owners were probably one and the same person.
