Strategios 15 was probably an abbot (hegoumenos) on Mt Sigriane; according to one Life of Theophanes 18 (Theophanes Homologetes) he made Theophanes a monk, in or soon after 780: Vita Theoph. Conf. (BHG 1787z) 23. The other Lives give other names; see Christophoros 64 and Theodoros 369.
