Stephanos 152 was also called Molites; an iconoclast, he is named third after the iconoclast patriarchs in the list of people anathematised as iconoclasts in the Synodikon of Orthodoxy; the others named are Paulos 93, Theodoros 350, Theodoros 66 and Laloudios 1 Leo: Gouillard, "Synodikon", p. 57, lines 175-179 (Στεφάνῳ τῷ Μολίτῃ).
