Stephanos 24 was bishop of Ephesos; in 692 he attended the Quinisext Council in Constantinople, where he signed the canons: Ohme, Bischofsliste, p. 146, no. 11 (Στέφανος ἀνάξιος ἐπίσκοπος τῆς Ἐφεσίων μητροπόλεως τῆς Ἀσιανῶν ἐπαρχίας). The text in Mansi wrongly gives his see as Kaisareia: Mansi XI 989 (Στέφανος ἀνάξιος ἐπίσκοπος τῆς Καισαρέων μητροπόλεως τῆς Ἀσιανῶν ἐπαρχίας).
