Stephanos 10 was also known as Chameus; he was protospatharios in 792 when he perished in the battle of Markellai on 20 July together with other leading supporters of the emperor Constantine VI (Konstantinos 8): Theoph. AM 6284 (Στέφανον πρωτοσπαθάριον, τὸν Χαμέα).
