Sergios 122 was the husband of Matrona 1, who outlived him; he was a dux; his name is also given as Georgius: Capasso, Monumenta, Vol. I (1881), pp. 262-263 (Matrone \205 relicte q. d. Sergii (or Georgii) ducis). He was dead ("q. d." is "quondam", i.e. the former) before 763, the date of this document (see Euphrosyne 5).
