Sergios 112, also called Magoudas (Σέργιον τὸν Μαγουδάν), gave evidence against Maximus the Confessor (Maximos 10) at Constantinople in 652/653; he claimed to have heard nine years before from Thomas 63, on a visit from Rome, that Maximos 10 had seen in a vision that the rebel Gregorios 1 would prevail against the emperor Constans II (Konstans 1); Maximos 10 denied the allegation and said that until that moment when Sergios 112 made the charge he had never heard it; he described Sergios 112 as a loyal supporter of the empire (τοῦ κυροῦ Σεργίου τοῦ εὐνοïκοῦ τῆς βασιλείας; he presumably means a supporter of the emperor Constans II, (Konstans 1)): Relatio Motionis II 112C.
