Sergios 32 was metropolitan bishop of Caria; owner of seals dateable to the eighth or ninth century: DOSeals II 66.5 = Laurent, Corpus V 1, 514, Zacos and Veglery 2982a, cf. Zacos and Veglery 2982b (a similar specimen). Obv.: Virgin and Child, between cruciform monograms of Θεοτόκε and βοήθει. Rev.: +Σερ - γιω μη - τροπολ - ιτη Καρ - ιας+. The name and title read: Σεργίῳ μητροπολίτηι Καρίας. The see of the metropolitan bishop of Caria was at Stauropolis.
