Sergios 23 was the owner of a seal dateable to the sixth or seventh century: Tsougarakis, "Sceaux", p. 732, no. 3 = Tsougarakis, SBS 2, p. 149, no. 41. Obv.: Gospel scene (not identified). Rev.: three cruciform monograms, one interpreted as Σεργίου, the others of unknown interpretation). The seal was found in Crete.
