Prokopios 4 was bishop of Patrai in Achaea; in 787 he was represented at the Second Council of Nikaia (the Seventh Ecumenical Council) by the monk Ioannes 113 (who is attested only at the fourth and seventh sessions): Mansi XIII 137-40 (τόπον ποιούμενος Προκοπίου τοῦ εὐλαβεστάτου ἐπισκόπου).
