Presiam 1 was a ruler of Bulgaria (ἄρχων Βουλγαρίας) in the mid ninth century; he waged war for three years against Blastimeros 1, ruler of Serbia, without success: Const. Porph., DAI 32, 39ff. He perished in the war and his son, Michael (= Boris 1) later made war on the Serbs to avenge him: Const. Porph., DAI 32, 42.
