Phlabios 1 was the husband of an unnamed spatharia (Anonyma 66); his wife received a letter from Theodoros 15 (Theodore the Stoudite) written in 817/818: Theod. Stud., Ep. 330, p. 471 (addressed σπαθαρίᾳ τοῦ Φλαβίου). Presumably he was a spatharios, to judge by the title of his wife. Possibly identical with the unnamed spatharios recorded in another of the letters of Theodoros 15 (Anonymus 668): Theod. Stud., Ep. 334, p. 476, line 17.
