Philaretos 11 was a basilikos protospatharios and strategos of the Thrakesioi; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: Laurent, Orghidan 244. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with .ω - σω - δ.. - λ. in the corners. Rev.: ι.αρε - ω β' α' σπα - .τρα' των - ..ακης. The name and titles read: Φιλαρέτῳ βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ στρατηγῷ τῶν Θρακησίων.
