Paulos 47 was a priest, presumably at Rome; in 710 he was one of the retinue which accompanied pope Constantine (Konstantinos 136) on his visit to Constantinople: Lib. Pont. 90. 3 (?presbyterus?). The party set out from Rome on 5 October 710, and returned to Rome on 24 October 711: Lib. Pont. 90. 3 and 7.
