Paulos 29 was bishop of Attaleia in Pamphylia; in 787 he attended only the first session, on 24 September 787, of the Second Council of Nikaia (the Seventh Ecumenical Council); he is styled Παύλου ἐπισκόπου Ἀτταλίας: Mansi XII 999. He apparently attended no further sessions of the Council, although he may have been represented at the second session by Ioannes 137, q.v.
