Patrikios 2 was bishop of Magnesia ad Maeandrum in Asiana; in 681 he attended the Third Council of Constantinople (the Sixth Ecumenical Council) and was present at the last eight sessions (sessions eleven to eighteen, from 20 March to 16 September): Riedinger II 2. 404-826 (= Mansi XI 457-676). In the subscriptions to the statement of the faith, which condemned monotheletism, and to the Council, he is styled Πατρίκιος ἐλέει Θεοῦ ἐπίσκοπος τῆς Μαγνητῶν πρὸς τῷ Μεάνδρῳ πόλεως τῆς Ἀσιανῶν ἐπαρχίας: Riedinger II 2. 788, line 5, 826, line 7 (= Mansi XI 648, 676).
