Pantaleon 3 was basilikos spatharios; owner of a seal dateable to the first half of the eighth century: Seibt, Bleisiegel 178. Obv.: + - Χ(ριστ)ὲ ὁ Θ(εὸ)ς - [β]οήθη τ - [ῷ] σῷ δού - λῳ. Rev.: + - [Π]αντο - [λ]έοντι - β(ασιλικῷ) σπ[α]θ - αρί(ῳ). Seibt notes that other Pantaleontes are known from other seals of this period but none of their seals resembles this one.
