Nikolaos 61 was primikerios and chartoularios of the basilikon vestiarion; owner of a seal dateable between the mid eighth century and the mid ninth (Zacos and Veglery) or perhaps to the turn of the eighth and ninth centuries (Laurent): Zacos and Veglery 2219 = Laurent, Corpus II, no. 692. The name and titles read: Νικολάῳ πριμικηρίῳ καὶ χαρτουλαρίῳ τοῦ βασιλικοῦ βεστιαρίου.
