Nikolaos 55 was apo eparchon; owner of seals dateable to the seventh or eighth century (Laurent), possibly the seventh (Zacos and Veglery), or the late seventh (Seyrig): Laurent, Orghidan 296, Zacos and Veglery 664a and b, Seyrig 20. Obv.: eagle, with wings spread, and a cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει. Rev.: +Νικ - ολαω α - πο επαρ - χων.
