Niketas 117 was patrikios, basilikos protospatharios and domestikos of the theophylaktoi Scholai; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 2252. The name and titles read: Νικήτᾳ πατρικίῳ, βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ δομεστίκῳ τῶν θεοφυλάκτων σχολῶν. Possibly identical with Niketas 11.
