Niketas 26 was bishop of Koloneia in Armenia Secunda; in 787 he was represented at the Second Council of Nikaia (the Seventh Ecumenical Council) by the priest Ioannes 115: Mansi XIII 141 (Ἰωάννης πρεσβύτερος καὶ ἐκ προσώπου Νικήτα ἐπισκόπου Κολωνείας). He is recorded only in the list of names from the fourth session on 1 October 787; see Ioannes 115.
