Nikephoros 48 was patrikios and strategos of the Boukellarioi; owner of a seal probably dateable to the second half of the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 2226. The name and titles read: Νικηφόρῳ πατρικίῳ καὶ στρατηγῷ τῶν Βουκελλαρίων. For a similar seal, see Nikephoros 31.
