Nikephoros 33 was ostiarios; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth or tenth century: Schlumberger, Sig., p. 405, no. 7. Obv.: +Κ(ύρι)ε βοήθι τῷ σῷ δούλῳ. Rev.: +Νικηφόρ(ῳ) ὠστιαρίο (sic). Schlumberger includes this seal in the section on the clergy.
