Miles 1 was a Stoudite monk, whose death together with that of Barnabas 4, while they were still young, is mentioned in a sermon of Theodoros 15 (Theodore the Stoudite): Theod. Stud., Catech. Parva 9 (p. 34 Auvray). The same sermon also mentions the death of Euprepianos 1, which occurred in c. 818.
