Marinos 22 was hypatos and logothetes; owner of a seal dateable to the first half of the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 2162 = Laurent, Corpus II 273. The name and titles read: Μαρίνῳ ὑπάτῳ καὶ λογοθέτῃ. Laurent identifies the owner with Marinos apo eparchon and dioiketes of the eparchiai (Corpus II 1168 = Zacos and Veglery 1178, E/M VII), but cf. Zacos and Veglery ad loc. and Millet, in BCH 17 (1893) 73ff. (dating Corpus II 1168 to the tenth century).
