The tombstone of Maria 8, dateable to the ninth century, was found in Bulgaria (+ ἐνθάδε κατάκε[ι] - ται ἡ δούλη τοῦ Θ[εοῦ] - Μαρία); she was buried on 10 October of an eleventh indiction: Beshevliev, Spätgr. u. spätlat.
