Leo 167 was basilikos protospatharios and epi tou khrysotriklinou; owner of a seal dateable to the second half of the ninth century: Zacos II 836. Obv.: bust of Christ, bearded, with cross behind the head; circular inscription: +Κ(ύρι)ε βοήθη τῷ σῷ δούλῳ Λέοντ. Rev.: +β' α' - σπαθ' (καὶ) ε - πι του χρ - υσοτρι - κλιν. The name and titles read: Λέοντι βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ ἐπὶ τοῦ χρυσοτρικλίνου.
