Kostantinakios 1 was kommerkiarios of Didymoteichon; owner of a seal dateable to the first half of ninth century (see below): DOSeals I 50.1 = Zacos and Veglery 1438. Obv.: Κύριε βοήθει. Rev.: Κοστα[ντ]ινακ(ίῳ) κομερκ(ιαρίῳ) τοῦ Διδυμοτ(είχου) (correcting the reading of the name as "Konstantinos" in Zacos and Veglery). For epigraphic and stylistic reasons, Nesbitt and Oikonomides assign this seal to the first half of the ninth century; see Nesbitt and Oikonomides, DO Seals I, p. 133, note.
