Konstantinos 243 was basilikos spatharios and notarios of the idikos basilikos logos; owner of two seals dateable to the ninth century, possibly the first half (so Laurent): Zacos and Veglery 1833a and b (IXth century) = Laurent, Corpus II, no. 625 (E/M IX). The name and titles read: Κωνσταντίνῳ βασιλικῷ σπαθαρίῳ καὶ νοταρίῳ τοῦ ἰδικοῦ βασιλικοῦ λόγου.
