Konstantinos 103 was the son of Beniamin 1 and was a scholarios; he probably had a family name or nickname ending with the letters όπης (see text cited below); he described to Sabas 1 how once, when on an expedition against the Bulgars in Europa, he fell off his horse while crossing the Hebros and was only saved by the miraculous intervention of St Peter of Atroa (Petros 34): Vita Petr. Atr. 111 (Vita Petr. Atr. Retractata, pp. 165-167) (Κωνσταντῖνος σχολάριος όπης, υἱὸς Βενιαμὶν).
