Konstantinos 52 was bishop of Tlos in Lycia; in 787 he attended the Second Council of Nikaia (the Seventh Ecumenical Council) and was probably present at all eight sessions, from 24 September to 23 November 787: Mansi XII 998- XIII 486. In the list of those present at the first session he is styled Κωνσταντίνου ἐπισκόπου τῶν Τλῶν: Mansi XII 998. His name is missing from the Greek text of the list of those present at the seventh session but his see is named; his name and the see of the previous bishop have been omitted; the correct text is preserved in the Latin version, at XIII 370, where however the name of his see is corrupt ("
