Konstantinos 35 was bishop of Regium (in Bruttium); in 787 he attended the Second Council of Nikaia (the Seventh Ecumenical Council) and is attested as present at the first, the fourth and the seventh sessions (24 September, 1 October and 13 October 787): Mansi XII 994, XIII 137, XIII 365. In the lists of those present at the first and seventh sessions he is styled Κωνσταντίνου ἐπισκόπου τοῦ Ῥηγίου: Mansi XII 994, XIII 365. At the second session he was represented by the priest Galatios 2, who spoke on his behalf in support of the traditional veneration of icons as described in statements from pope Hadrian I (Hadrianos 1) and condemned iconoclasts: Mansi XII 1098 (πρεσβύτερος καὶ ἐκ προσώπου τοῦ ὁσιωτάτου ἐπισκόπου τοῦ Ῥηγίου). At the fourth session, on 1 October 787, he subscribed the statements read out from the Fathers in support of the veneration of icons; his name appears in the Greek text as Κώνστας ὁ ἀνάξιος ἐπίσκοπος τοῦ Ῥηγίου and the Latin version, at XIII 138, as "
