Konstans 4 was a priest and representative (topoteretes) of Hexamilion; he was present at the seventh session of the Second Council of Nikaia (the Seventh Ecumenical Council) on 13 October 787 and is attested only at the seventh session, where he subscribed the statement of the faith adopted by the Council: Mansi XIII 388D (Κώνστας πρεσβύτερος καὶ τοποτηρητὴς τοῦ Ἑξαμιλίου). He was the representative of the bishop of Hexamilion (in Thrace).
