In AH 90 (AD Nov. 708/Nov. 709) = 1020 Sel. (AD 708/709), Khalid ibn Kaisan (Khalid 4), who was the emir of the sea (presumably in command of Arab naval matters), was taken prisoner by the Romans: Elias, Chron., p. 158, 18-24 = p. 76.
