Iordanes 1 was a priest and monk from Jerusalem; in 681 he and Polychronios 3 attended the final session of the Third Council of Constantinople (the Sixth Ecumenical Council) (on 16 September) as apokrisiarioi from Jerusalem; in the list of those present at the session they are styled Ἰορδάνου καὶ Πολυχρονίου τῶν εὐλαβεστάτων πρεσβυτέρων μοναχῶν καὶ ἀποκρισιαρίων τῆς ἁγίας τοῦ Θεοῦ ἡμῶν πόλεως Ἱεροσολύμων: Riedinger II 2. 764, lines 19-20 (= Mansi XI 629).
